ALMOST ADOPTION DAY!!

Well it's been over a week since we last talked and I suppose I should fill you in on what I've been up to.
I went to a Meet N Greet last Saturday in the great city of Leonardtown.  They called it the Fall Follies but I wasn't sure why.  I met lots of other greyhounds! There was Thunder, Jiggy, Chellie, Hot, Lady, Moe, Fraction and the littlest one, Raisin.  Of course everyone who came over, and there were a lot of people there, was taken with my beauty, and the fact that I was still available, one person even wanted to take me home right away. Silly people...  Anyway we got one application so far and surprise, they are interested in little ole me!

It was fun and I got to go outside and stay out on a beautiful day with other greyhounds for almost 6 hours. Boy was I tired after all that work!  There were other dogs there but I didn't pay any attention to them cause everyone was trying to pet me and I was taking advantage of that.

Foster Dad says I do real well on leash and I ride nice in the car, even though it was going kind of slow for me.

I also got to go on a neighborhood walk with my foster sisters Lulu and AJ and of course Wookie, did I mention that he is a big dog?, no, well he is. We had a nice relaxing walk, only about a mile but it was nice, then Lulu and I laid out in the yard for a little bit, gotta get our sun ya know.

I am looking forward to Saturday, maybe I will meet my new family? Maybe it will be you! Unfortunately if you haven't put in that application yet you will probably not get to meet me, cause I could be gone! But then again you might be the family I am waiting for and I may pass on the families that come this Saturday. So what are you waiting for? put in the application now! Your gonna miss out on some pretty amazing pups if you continue to wait.

Hey it's me Camry! Posting from the Nussberger home!

Hello everyone!! I know I should have been on here a long time ago but hey I still have two weeks to let you know how wonderful I am before our next adoption event when I get to pick my new family. I came to the Nussberger's because I have a bite of anxiety over being left alone and they have two greyhounds and one big dude named Wookie.....yes he looks like a wookie, all hairy and big! He is the sweetest guy though! Anyway, I like being around other greyhounds, it makes me feel comfortable. At first I followed my foster dad and mom everywhere they went, but after a week or so I realized that they weren't going to go away for long and I'm getting more comfortable. I really hate the crate but foster dad says I have to go in the crate for dinner because I eat like a hoover vacuum, whatever that is! Other than that I am a good girl and haven't done anything wrong while they leave the house. Oh I cry and moan and sometimes bark a little but not as much as when I first came here. I never ever touch the cats....Wookie likes to play with the cats so when foster mom and dad leave the house he gets crated but not me!!! I never get on the furniture, a nice comfy dog bed is what I like and they have at least one in every room here so there is plenty of places to curl up! Lulu, AJ and I get along pretty good for three girls, Lulu is the oldest and she is definitely the boss! AJ is a cutie and is only a couple years older than me, we like to go out in the yard and sunbathe together! As you can imagine, I have it pretty good here! The food is good, the beds are comfy and the company is great but I would rather have my own home and my own family. If there is a family out there that has another greyhound that would like a little sister please come and meet me so we can see if I will be a good match for your greyhound and your family. I'm ready to get full on into that retirement thing, I have even mastered roaching!! Which is a good thing! So put in that application and let them know that you would like to meet me, I only ask that at least one member of your family stay home during the day, not everyday but most days, to keep me company till I get settled in. Foster dad says that he will post pictures of me as soon as he can get his computer and phone to talk to each other, whatever that means, hopefully it will be soon so that you can see how cute I am!!
